When I first started reading this book, I found it so interesting that I couldn't put it down!
Literally from the start to the very end, everything about it is interesting!
I think that this should be a must read for everyone because, I think we all know someone that also has been through similar situations. I know I can personally relate.
Overall, the message behind this book, is a very powerful one. It has really helped teach me that life is what you make of it, no matter what hand of cards you have been dealt.
I found it heartbreaking at times during reading the book, where I would have to sit the book aside and collect my emotions because of the similarity of the author's and my own life. Some points of the book brought back memories of my own childhood horror.
I have really enjoyed reading it and am so pleased that the author was able to turn her life around and to be able to find happiness after living a life of horror.
